1. Fee Calculation Estimates

All fee calculations provided by MarketplaceFee.com are estimates only. They are based on publicly available marketplace fee structures and are intended for informational purposes. These calculations should not be used as the sole basis for financial or business decisions.

The Service calculates estimated fees for the following general marketplaces: eBay, Mercari, Depop, Poshmark, Grailed, StockX, GOAT, Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Vinted, Etsy, Amazon, and Walmart. The Service also calculates estimated fees for the following ticket resale marketplaces: Ticketmaster, StubHub, SeatGeek, AXS, TickPick, Gametime, Vivid Seats, Razorgator, TicketCity, and Viagogo.

2. Accuracy Limitations

While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date fee data, actual marketplace fees may differ from our estimates due to the following factors:

  • **Account-Specific Variations**: Individual seller accounts may be subject to unique terms, negotiated rates, promotional offers, or tiered pricing that differ from the standard rates we use

We currently support calculations for the United States (USD), Canada (CAD), Australia (AUD), the United Kingdom (GBP), Germany (EUR), France (EUR), Japan (JPY), and Mexico (MXN), but local taxes, regulations, and surcharges may not be fully captured
  • **Currency Fluctuations**: Exchange rates change constantly; our currency conversions are approximations
  • **Category-Specific Fees**: Some marketplaces charge different fee percentages based on product category, which may change or have subcategory variations not reflected in our calculator
  • **Additional Fees**: There may be listing fees, insertion fees, subscription costs, promotional fees, payment gateway fees, or other charges imposed by individual marketplaces that are not included in our calculations
  • **Ticket Marketplace Variability**: Ticket resale marketplace fees often vary based on event type, venue, ticket demand, and other dynamic factors that cannot be precisely calculated in advance
  • **Tax Considerations**: VAT, sales tax, GST, and other regional taxes may apply to transactions and are not comprehensively modeled for all scenarios
